PetroStrat Connect is very secure. We use Microsoft’s single-sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA) to authenticate any user before granting access into our MS Azure environment where the PetroStrat Connect platform is hosted. We also perform rigorous quarterly penetration tests conducted by an external, 3rd party, and have set the threshold and standards to a high CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) score for the platform and Infrastructure to adhere to.
No. We use a rigorous entitlement engine that only allows ‘entitled’ users to access specific datasets. This means, for example, person A from Company A can see projects 1 – 3, however person B from Company A can only see project 1. This entitlement engine also removes the possibility of providing Company A’s datasets to Company B.
No. You can only view the multiclient dataset(s) you have licenced from our multiclient library. This again is controlled by our entitlement engine. However, users do have the opportunity to buy the data licences for any Multiclient datasets through our regular sales channels and we can provide these data sets on the PetroStrat Connect platform once the relevant sale process has been completed.
Yes. You must have licenced a multiclient dataset from our multiclient library before you can be entitled to view it on PetroStrat Connect. To enquire about licencing any of these projects, please Contact Us.
Currently, users cannot view their ongoing proprietary work in PetroStrat Connect. This feature is a priority within our development pipeline, with beta applications likely to be ready in Q2 2025.
Currently, users can only view licenced multiclient datasets they are entitled to access on PetroStrat Connect. As we onboard user requested proprietary datasets, these will be available to view alongside all licenced multiclient datasets entitled for that user to view.
If you wish to have a multiclient dataset you have previously licenced available on PetroStrat Connect, please contact the PetroStrat Connect team who will forward your enquiry to our multiclient manager.
Currently, users cannot upload their datasets into PetroStrat Connect. However, this feature is a priority within our development pipeline, with beta applications likely to be ready post Q2 2025.
Yes. If you use the ‘Connect Data Access’ module you can download PDF’s, SBUG, .csv, .xlsx, .png etc. files associated with selected multiclient projects onboarded onto PetroStrat Connect. You can also download the datasets powering each ‘Connect Viewer’ and ‘Connect Analytics’ visualisation using the ‘data access’ tab on each application. This gives you an option to download the tabulated data as either an .xlsx., .csv or .PDF file. In further releases, additional datatypes will be available for download, including shape files and .png files for core/petrographic imagery.
